I saw Mr. Dennis at Stamford Hospital on 10 September 2015. Mr. Dennis went through everything with me in great detail and gave me a risk analysis. I was worried about the pain after the operation. Mr. Dennis made me feel at ease. He listened to what I had to say and I have every confidence in Mr. Dennis and his treatment of me. I do not fear the operation as much as before I saw Mr. Dennis. Please pass on my regards to Mr. Dennis.

What can I say about this amazing man that hasn't already been said!? In a nutshell.. Mr Dennis saved my life! I was transferred over into his care after serious complications following previous surgery for a perforated bowel. From the moment we were introduced, Mr Dennis was the ultimate professional... He listened, he explained the situation, he was honest and held nothing back which was music to my ears after what had preceded him and from that moment, he gained both mine and my fiancé's complete trust. Unfortunately, things took a nosedive and further emergency surgery was required. This resulted in part of my bowel being removed and a colostomy. I was admitted to Critical Care to allow my body to recover from its ordeal and two days later, Mr Dennis completed further surgey to close my wound. The aftercare from Mr Dennis was exceptional... He saw me everyday after I was returned to Critical Care and kept my fiancé informed from start to finish, regardless of the time of day. Once on the wards, Mr Dennis was an ever present, visiting sometimes twice a day. My medication was constantly being reviewed/monitored by him and instructions were given to the ward nurses and staff regarding dressings, diet and fluids, blood tests, observations etc on every occasion. My discharge from hospital wasn't taken lightly and there was never any pressure. Mr Dennis took every precaution and covered every scenario for potential problems with an action plan in case things started to go wrong. I'm now well on the way to a full recovery, physically and I've seen Mr Dennis once as an outpatient where he continued to show all of the same qualitys I've previously mentioned, he also made further arrangements for me to gain advice on other problems and offered his continued service with any concerns that may arise in the future. Mr Dennis is a perfectionist, he is meticulous in every way, he is empathetic, friendly, respectful and dedicated to his patient.. He cares... What a man!!! He is truly one of gods gifts to the world and a credit to his profession... Peterborough City Hospital are very blessed to have his services there! Thank you so much once again Sir, for giving me my life back... Words cannot express my gratitude to you!

Mr Dennis is an excellent surgeon. He performed a total Colectomy and end ileostomy on me last year. The surgery was a great success, and have had positive comments from other medical persons, that I have a very neat stoma. His support team have been very helpful also. I am due to have a completion proctectomy in June this year, and wouldn't want it done by any other surgeon than Mr Dennis. He also is very nice person, who explains clearly what is happening, and listens to your questions, even when you know he's probably been asked a thousand times the same ones...as you can tell I am a fan :)

Mr Dennis is a very caring Doctor not only looking after the patient very well but also the family as well he takes the time to ring them to tell them if everything is ok I would recemend him totaly
